Breakfast while waiting for Eric and the Lims
Lunch at this restaurant, everything is prearranged by the host. We paid RM90 each for the chalet stay and all meals. Looking at the amount of food and the variety of seafood, this RM90 is super worth it.
Prawn + meat roll, i like this one..
Steam fish with their signature Thai chili
Drunken prawns
Happy Lims
The Lims bought this, coconut pudding.. taste creamy and good!! It's a must try in Kukup!
Kukup houses
Low tides
Our chalet, i suppose this is the old house of the host because i saw his old wedding photo hanging in the wall of the room i slept in. Very clean, no dust, good toilet system (they have 3 toilets), KTV system available, MJ and fishing rod on demand.
The Hwangs, Koh and Tan took a nap while the Lims and Eric went out to explore...
Woke up just before the sunset, 6.30pm.
Rush out to the nearest open sea... we hijack into the chalet next door, took all these while our "neighbors" are having their dinner right next to us.

Eric's mum and friend
Relaxing lims watching "AI". To my shock, Fabian watches "AI"!
The host help us to call up the firework man over so we can get this.. Door to door, the service standard in this kampong is good sia.
Weapon
More weapon
Splurge RM300 on these, including a 49 continue shot.
Dinner is BBQ! Never enjoyed BBQ dinner as much as we didn't need to BBQ ourselves!!! The host and his wife is there to BBQ for us!!! They even clear our unfinished food and pack for us aside for supper. Shiokness..
Kukup otah with alot of chunky fish meat
They prepared food enough for 20 pax when there is only 10 of us! They even prepared homemade barley for supper!!
Time for firework!!
I compiled some of our firework.
After which, we had a long session of KTV until 1am! How i wish i have a KTV system at home!!
The Lims woke up at 6.30am hopping to catch the sunrise but this is what they get, sun is already up :(
Breakfast next day was Nasi Lemak with homemade fried prawn cake, soya milk and coffee.

Thanks Fab for this one ^^
Group photos
Sun was too bright, some picture went over exposed.
Went out jalan jalan
Giant banana
PPC pao pao cha time
People here trying to be creative, they came out with Yakult milk tea, coke milk tea etc. They failed big time, taste super weird!
Drying squid
Taking boat ride to tour kelong
Floating kelong
Jello
Sharkie
I don't know how to shoot a struggling shark, this is the best i can get.
Some clayfish that we dont eat, only people in Thai and Viet consume them.
Dead puffer
This kelong trip was short compared to the one we visit in Desaru. I still remember the seafood on kelong was super fresh, taste much different from those serving in restaurant.
The way back to Singapore was much better, we took the JB route. No pebbles road, no hiccups, no jam, a smooth 1.5 hours ride to reach JB and Eric brought us to wash off those mud before heading to the custom. Overall this was a good trip, accept the part where the car freak husband got paranoid because Eric choose the suppose to be short cut pebbles road and left some light scratches on Ah-Vic. I promise him a sealant job before CNY, either we DIY or paid for service.
Lesson learned: Life is not about taking short cut, take the long route to enjoy max.
